On February 13th, I was blessed to celebrate my 64th birthday. As I looked at that number (64), I found it difficult to believe how the years have come and gone. Thirty of those years have been devoted to the Ingleside Presbyterian Church ministry. As I reflect on the time invested and the many fruits of the labor I rejoice in the Lord.

I have been blessed to be here at Ingleside long enough to witness the fruitfulness of our Lord to His church. I have seen the hand of God repeatedly move to meet whatever the need of the ministry. I have watched people come literally in a state of hopelessness and in time have seen them transformed into a tower of strength in the Lord. I have experienced the attacks of Satan and seen God fight the battle, always giving His servant the victory. I have been a part of numerous prayers for sometimes seemingly impossible situations, where God has changed the outcome for good.

I am convinced of The Resurrection Power of God. I know God is able to do anything. I know God loves all of his children and is eager to bless us so that we may rejoice and give Him praise.

This Easter Season, may we each reach out to God for love. Regardless of our life situation, may we seek to grow ever closer to the Source of all life. May we humble ourselves in Thanksgiving for his Amazing Grace in Christ Jesus. May we be resurrected to New Life with our Lord, determined to lift up His light of love, for such a time as this, with our world experiencing so much darkness.
